My name is Tyler Willmott and I am a 22 year old Junior Accountant at Accru Hobart.
I have been working full-time at Accru since February 2018, having entered a cadetship position approximately two months after graduating from Guilford Young College. I currently have two years of part-time studies remaining in my Business degree at UTAS.
I personally like working with clients in the Xero accounting software space. I have substantial experience in the conversion field, assisting clients with moving from different accounting software’s (such as QuickBooks Online) to a Xero file. In the past six months, I have assisted multiple clients with the set-up of their company or business and their accounting software from scratch. It is very important that a xero file (or any accounting software file) is set up correctly from the start to ensure no issues present when operations commence. This includes direct bank-feeds, chart of accounts, payroll, superannuation clearing houses, etc.
Outside of the office, I love my sport, and play cricket for the New Town Bucks in the CTPL. Accru has allowed me a great work-life balance, allowing paid study leave to attend University and flexibility in relation to sporting commitments.
